ci-media was asked to design Middlesbrough Council's 130 page Annual Report, and to supply design guidelines to enable subsequent years' Accounts to be produced in-house.
We shot a comprehensive set of location photographs, in and around Middlesbrough to provide the image content for the section divider pages.
The complex Excel spreadsheet data content supplied was optimised and a type / information hierarchy applied to the account pages to increase clarity, continuity and readability throughout the document.
An 8 page Summary of Accounts was also designed containing key information distilled from the full accounts. This document was delivered to every household in the Middlebrough area.
